Tail (Talitha Mabel) Emerson- Rabble
Gender: Female
Age: 22 Nature: Wolf Occupation: Student Appearance: Creamy coloured fur covers her form, slight paler shading giving her the perfect winter camouflage. Her eyes are that eerie amber gold colour, set in a face which lightens to true white around her nose. Her nose is pink- well, pink marked with black. She is a stocky wolf, looking larger then she is, at least till she stands among her Pack. Her size is barely 5'3 from nose to tail, something that puts her at a disadvantage in the often violent Pack disputes. When in her human form, Tail has the look of your everyday girl with hints of rebellion and uniqueness showing through. Standing at only five foot three she's a rather small woman. Her body is well formed yet rather skinny, dotted with light muscles on her arms, legs and abdomen. She tends to dress rather casually with baggy pants and boots with cut off t-shirts showing her tight torso. |

The boots give her a little more height but not enough as most people still tower over her. Talitha's face is very soft and rounded, not even a hint of sharpness down to the end of her nose. Her skin is a pale shade making her look like she might burn in the sun rather than tan. She wears a ring in her nose on the left side and a few freckles spot her face in a very delicate array. Her hair is platinum blond, only the slightest bit darker on her eyebrows. There are streaks of a light pink scattered among the very straight strands. Tail's hair is short, barely coming down mid neck and not even close to touching her shoulders. Her eyes are a very soft gray blue, usually hidden by strands of hair and her dark lashes.
Personality:
Raised for the first decade of her life with communal living, being part of a Pack has only re-enforced her preference to be part of a group. She was raised as part of a Commune, and it was only after being pulled away from that, that abuse happened. She sees being part of a group as vital to her safety; a group protects its members, and a 'lone wolf' is easy prey. Her Pack-mates are the most important part of her life, and she no longer minds not being part of any human group. If she thought it would protect the Pack, she wouldn't think twice about killing someone. After all, she isn't human any more, and meat is meat.
However, she isn't an 'Alpha' in the slightest - if a stranger approached the Pack she'd watch the Lycaon, so she could follow his lead. To the other students at her college she seems a friendly, helpful young woman, happy to share her notes.
History:
Raised for the first ten years on a 'hippy' commune, the commune had no designated classroom, and lessons were conducted in the orchard and the large communal dining hall, depending on the weather. All the communes' children were taught to read, to write and basic math, but after that the children were allowed to decide if they wanted to continue an 'academic' education or to learn a craft from an older commune member.
Tail, who remembered watching her mother turn a bag of wool in to a beautiful tapestry, chose to learn weaving, and decided she'd made the right choice when she gave her father a wall-hanging showing him and his wife together. She would never forget the look on his face, or the way he'd shown others what his daughter had made. Her mother committed suicide when her cancer was declared terminal, and two years later at harvest time her father died when the tractor he was driving overturned. The commune 'family', all she'd ever known, fought to keep her, but a social worker, convinced she needed to live with a 'normal' family, had her sent to live with family she'd never met.
The move dropped Tail in to a way of life she'd only ever heard about, and which she quickly found lonely. Her new cousin didn’t appreciate the disruption and would bully her at every opportunity.
Surrounded by strange, distant authority figures, she didn't know who to ask for help, and the happy, mischievous child became withdrawn and isolated. It was put down to grief by adults, and She threw herself in to her school work when tutoring sessions were made available and her cousin chose sport instead. By fourteen she had caught up to the other school children her age and finally began socializing with the other teens at school. Finding people she had things in common with began to bring her out of her shell, and she saw no reason not to help her new friends out. She started helping by looking out for any approaching teachers when her friends wanted to smoke, but it wasn't long until she was helping them 'shop'…by watching out for the store security while items relocated themselves from the store shelving to inside a friends' jacket.
Then her friends decided to introduce her to their other friends - patched gang members. Envious of how free they seemed compared to her timetabled, restricted life, Tail spent as much time as she could around them, and at the gangs' suggestion took 'useful' courses at school, such as chemistry. The gang had plans to expand certain activities and thought a science degree would be very profitable. As a result she found herself returning to studying with her former intensity, and was accepted at almost every university she applied to. Her cousin announced that he was accepted to the local college with a full sport scholarship. Tail immediately decided on an out of state university. It was on a trip to New York to look at Colleges there that a big ‘dog’ bit her.
By the time she was visiting colleges in Georgia she wasn’t feeling very well. A local Wolf realized what was going on and Tail found a Pack and the college she would attend at the same time.
Special Abilities/Talents:
With a lot of practice, she's become rather good at her hobby, weaving, and has begun to sell some of her work online.
Weaknesses: She has a strong need to have the Pack nearby, and doesn't feel secure if they're not nearby. Can be racist towards non wolves.
Quirks: Prefers to work from scratch - even if that means spinning wool and dying it herself.
Weapons: Only herself, though she'd rather shelter behind one of the Alpha. If she feels she has to fight; or knows there won't be any negative consequences for her, her preferred tactic is to attack without warning and hamstring her opponent and then, when they're on the ground, to try to kill them fast.
In-Game Family or Significant Others: None so far.
Home: A tiny studio apartment near the pack house.
