Maria Rosa Calaveres- Rabble
Stats
Gender: Female Age: 19 Nature: Bear Occupation: Carpentry Apprentice Appearance: Dark brown hair which is often tied into quick pony tails or pig tails reaches her shoulder blades when left down. Her dark eyes show her optimistic outlook for those that know how to look; her eye liner, mascara and lipstick show that she's not afraid to be girly even when heading to work at a traditionally masculine trade. She may be below average height and slender, but she's not afraid of getting her hands dirty. Often literally, as the on site apprentice. She will be wearing extremely girly dresses outside of work. In her fur, she is a smallish Black Bear. |

Personality: Maria doesn't see her personality as a contradiction, though her mother would disagree. She's a girly girl. She likes dressing up, is happiest when wearing make up, and has always been into hobbies and interests her mother thought were for boys.
She was the little girl who climbed trees in her best party dress. She still is, though now that she's the one having to buy and pay for the repair of the pretty dresses she's willing to bow to practicality.
When her mother stared talking about colleges she demonstrated how stubborn she could be and became a carpentry apprentice.
She wants the traditional bonding. She's aromantic and hates going in dates.
History: Maria never knew her father; he was 30 when he came to town and met her mother and 31 when the urge to wander again seized the man. Maria knew her mother loved her, but for years she was the only child she knew whose parents weren't mates. Aside from wistfully wishing for a "normal" Bear family, Maria had a happy childhood, but as she started to near adulthood she realized that there were those in her community who expected her to follow her mother's bad example.
It didn't help that she'd never been interested in flirting with any of the available young men. She didn't know how to explain that she definitely enjoyed looking, but flirting? Holding hands? She didn't understand it at all. It took standing in line hearing a college student also waiting for their coffee explaining to their friend what "aromantic" means for her to realize that that was exactly what she was. And then she had a problem.
She didn't want to make her mother's mistake, because she knew it had made things unnecessarily hard for her. She also wanted to prove all the gossips wrong. But bonding to someone who will want to hold hands and who would be able to tell how she feels about that? She doesn't think she could stand it. Strongly suspecting she may be doomed to be an old maid, she's putting money aside from every pay cheque so that she can one day buy a home of her own.
Abilities: Learning carpentry.
Weaknesses: Stubborness
Weapons: Does her tool kit count?
Family: Mother (NPC)
Vehicle: A pink moped
Home: A one bedroom rental she shares with her mother. The couch is very comfortable...
