Britni Anders- Rabble
Fake ID: Ella Anderson
Gender: Female
Age: 18, officially. Actual age: 14
Nature: Cougar recruit
Occupation: Soldier
Appearance: Out of uniform, Britni wears bulky hoodies and cheap trackpants. She's plain and pale in appearance, and looks like she could really be the 18 year old her ID says she is. Maybe she'd be pretty if she knew how to use make up. But she looks worn out and tired of life.
Shifted appearance: In her fur, she's small. And spotted. Yes, those *are* cub markings on this supposedly 18 year old. Oops.
Personality: As she'll mention, who lies about being 18? Fake ID has to be at least 21, or there's no point. And anyone trying to catch her out by asking when her birthday is when she can't check the ID - she really was born on June 26, just in 2002.
But she's not 18, though. She was born in 2002 and though she's been living on her own and pretending to be an adult, she's still a child.
She dreams of adventure, and is impulsive. She's been too trusting too many times, and has finally learnt to be wary.
She reads Young Adult novels about heroines.
History: Life's had it in for Britni since the beginning. Her mother got pregnant after a Nickelback concert in New Orleans to a boy she met at the concert. Her mother dropped out of school and had her, and got by on low income jobs and by living with whoever was her boyfriend at the time. It got harder and harder for her mother to get work without a high school diploma, and with two more children by the time Britni was 14 she started to study to get her GED.
And that's when things went really wrong for Britni. Dave, her mother's current boyfriend, took her mother's wallet to buy drugs. When the missing money and the drugs were found, Dave blamed Britni.
Unaware that Dave was a relapsing addict, and with teen Britni having been sneaking out to go hang out with her friends, Britni was told to get out and stay out by her mother, who was scared about what might happen to her other children with an addict around.
Britni stayed with her friends the first week until their parents learned that Britni 'used drugs'.
She got on a bus, and managed to talk her way into a job washing dishes with the explanation that she'd lost her wallet to wave away the lack of ID. A few cold nights went by before she had enough for more than food and laundry and found a rathole to share with some new friends. At least it was dry.
The dishwashing job didn't last long though, as the place was shut down for health and safety violations, and she was turned away from many potential jobs for the lack of ID.
She finally got another job, and made a priority out of saving up to get a fake ID that a friend of a friend could get her. That friend of a friend talked her into buying a "package deal" with ID and birth certificate and she made a mistake and spent her rent money. Her new friends kicked her out.
It was winter and she had to stay in a homeless shelter at night. And then she saw an advert. She could join the military and they'd give her a job and a home. And, best of all? She could be a real life shape shifter! It would be amazing!
Knowing the homeless shelter had believed her ID real, she took the chance that no one would realise her actual age and applied.
