Bill Smith (NPC)- Tess
NOTE: Bill is an NPC. That means that anyone can use him in his capacity as a cab-driver, without asking permission first. For anything more involved than a normal taxi hire, please contact Tess first.
Gender: Male Age: 97 Nature: Cat Occupation: Independent Cab Driver Appearance: Due to the slow rate of shifter aging, Bill looks as though he's in his late fifties to mid-sixties, depending on his mood, the lighting and your opinion of what those ages look like. Shifters don't lose their hair until they get way up in years, so that's the tip-off for anyone of the furry persuasion of Bill's true age. He says he's not balding, his forehead's just lengthening. He tends to keep a short-clipped beard and mustache, and despite the length of forehead, his hair is still thick and not totally grey. His build is still good too, with only a slight paunch over his belt, more due to slackening skin and muscle than fat. |
Personality: Genial, but crusty. Bill's hit the time of life where he says what he thinks, when he wants to say it, and devil take the hindermost. He's not deliberately offensive or confrontive, but he will pitch his two-cents worth of opinion in, whether its requested or not.
History: Born in 1920, in the Bronx, Bill had a normal lower-class urban childhood. Infected when he was twelve, his family was able to get past their horror and grief to support him as best they were able. This kept Bill on the straight and narrow, at least, as much as Cats can be said to walk that line. He's driven a cab all his life, and when the winters finally got on his last nerve, he bought his last cab from the company and he and his mechanical boon companion moved to Stone Mountain. He considers himself the safer, saner alternative to Uber, at least for the local area.
Vehicle: An old model A-11 Checker taxi, still yellow but with stripes replacing its former checks. It semi-retired and moved down from New York, NY with Bill.
Weapons: "Hey! It's called 'Concealed Carry' for a reason!"
Home: A small studio apartment over The Daily Grind. Bill's cab-stand is across the street.
