Arlene Sofia Bianci - Runninggrass
Stats:
Gender: Female Age: 41 Nature: Wolf Occupation: Lycaon Appearance: Long gold hair cascades over the woman's shoulders, framing a face that could cut crystal. It's a sharp, cold sort of beauty that Arlene seems to cultivate with her piercing blue eyes. Though perhaps not runway model material, she is fit and trim, well muscled in a lithe, fluid sort of way. Though she walks with the confidence and spry energy of a leader, her stature itself is fairly diminutive. 5'4, and most of that leg, is tiny for a woman, let alone a Wolf. She favors classy clothing, nothing too showy or flashy. Jeans, boots, and a nice top in jewel tones and pastels. Leather and light cotton and white gold and sapphires. |

Shifted Appearance: Cream and cocoa mottled fur graces a figure on the smaller side of the werewolf spectrum. A darker saddle, lighter stomach, and a greyish-white ruff about her neck make her look almost like a brown and white Husky. If it wasn't for the moon yellow eyes, at least. She looks soft as silk, without too many guard hairs, but her coat is flowing and full.
Small as a human, small as a Wolf. Arlene is petite, willowy, and moves with the implacable energy of a rolling river.
Personality: Arlene has all the confidence of a born Alpha raised to rule. She brooks no nonsense or insubordination and is used to getting her way. She is a woman who sees the world very much in terms of 'my way or the highway'. The Biancis' have been 'top dogs' in the Stone Mountain area for generations, and Arlene is no different. Taking no for an answer isn't really in her programming.
All her life she has gotten her way. Her father was lenient with her, and she has never lacked for or wanted anything. The best schooling, travel, whatever she wanted was given to her. It was not, however, as if she did nothing in return for the gilded childhood. While expecting to always have her druthers, she is not the spoiled child she might sometimes come across as. Arlene is a hard worker, and doesn't turn her nose up at getting her hands dirty.
History: Arlene Bianci is a fourth generation Wolf, third generation Lycaon, and sixth generation Georgian from the Stone Mountain area. The Pack house is actually her family home and dates to before the Civil War. A born Wolf, her mother was a human, Clair Fitzgibbons, who fell in love with her father. She thought that she could handle life as a human in the Wolf society, but when her first child was born, and shifted into a Wolf pup within the first few months of life, Clair knew she was in over her head.
She and Giancarlo went through a strained, but more or less amicable, divorce. To this day, Arlene doesn't think he ever got over losing her mother.
Having gone through that, GC doted on his only daughter and taught her everything he knew. Arlene was his world and he gave her everything she could have wanted or needed. She was never allowed to tell humans about what she was, and was only really allowed to talk openly with the Bears. While she loved her father, she always chafed at this ruling.
When she was twelve, she was absolutely SURER THAN SURE she was going to marry Jacob Davis, the Major's son. There is probably still a few trees around with hearts and JD + AB 4E carved into them. Arlene told him time and again of her convictions and they were always shrugged off as a child's fancy. When Jacob married Amelia, she cried for three days straight and refused to eat anything.
She might still love him, but she's long gotten over her childish crush and is happy to see him happy with a family. After all, if he hadn't married, he would have left and that wouldn't be good, now would it? She still considers him one of her best friends.
Arlene attended Georgia State University and has studied abroad in Italy. It may have been cliche but she was intensely interested in the legends of Romulus and Remus and the She-Wolf. They might have been the first Wolves noted in history and that could be a big thing. An entire city founded by Wolves? Huge.
When she returned, she worked with her father for the Pack and worked on research projects off and on with colleges and universities around the state, taught seminars, and visited high schools to speak with kids interested in pursuing careers in History.
She corresponds regularly with her mother, who has remarried and lives in New York State with her husband Hank and their son Christopher.
Recent events had her and her father at catastrophic odds, resulting in a violent overthrow of the Pack.
Arlene is still recovering from the loss of her father and sudden assumption of power.
Abilities: Alpha Wolf powers. Can hold the gaze of a charging lion and probably make it back down. Holds a Masters in Ancient History and a Bachelors in Archaeology.
Weaknesses: Stubborn. Thinks she knows the answer to everything, most of the time. Wants everything HER way. NOW.
Quirks: Hates potatoes, has a secret love for dub step that she wouldn't admit in public.
Weapons: Wolf teeth and claws and agile build. Has a Ruger Mk II under the seat of her truck loaded with wax coated silver bullets.
